Located at 875 Peoria Street in Northwest Aurora, Burrell Arts K-8 is strategically located near the Colfax Arts District.

This ideal location provides our students access to one of our region's most progressive art scenes, including the Aurora Fox Theater and the Downtown Aurora Visual Arts Center (DAVA). 

Additionally, Burrell Arts is one of the closest schools in APS to the Denver Performing Arts Center and many other art resources in the Denver Metro Area.

We believe that all students deserve the opportunity to deeply engage in all art forms. Whether your child has been involved in the arts from a young age or is just beginning their interest in the arts, our arts programming in grades K-4 provides an opportunity for students to be exposed to all that an arts education can provide.

Learning Focus: Exploration

Beginning in 5th grade, students identify their specific interests in the arts. In our middle school program, students can begin to self-select an art form of their interest and engage more deeply into that art form.
