Welcome to the first edition of the monthly student-produced Burrell Arts newsletter!
This newsletter features information for January 2026, including:
- School Schedule: School closure on January 19th for Martin Luther King Day and an 8-period day on January 20th.
- Testing: Details on Access testing held from 1/12–1/15.
- Events: A Parent coffee on January 29th and a Parents In Action Neighborhood Exchange (zero-dollar community mall) on January 30th.
- College/Career Info: CCA advisors visit the College and Career center every other Wednesday in the HSA.
- Student Opportunities: Applications for students to feature their artwork or participate in writing the newsletter.
- Featured Content: The student-produced newsletter writer is Marley Vinson-Brower, 11th grade, and the featured artwork is "Pretty Poison" by Jessica Alvarado Campos, 12th grade.
